How to Sign Up for DST Email Reminders!
One of the worst things about Daylight Saving Time - whether it’s starting or ending - is trying to keep up with the time changes and dates. Losing or gaining an hour can really throw off your schedule.
Wouldn’t it be nice if you could receive simple email reminders for the time change in your local area, such as when and what time it’s going to happen? Well, guess what? You can, exclusively through WorldTimeServer.com. Right now, we’re going to walk you through how to set that up.
How to Enable DST Reminders from WTS.com
First, you’ll want to find your local current time page. This is going to differ depending on where you currently live, as the DST change is different everywhere in the world. You’ll want to be sure to choose the right location, especially if you’re visiting somewhere remote.
If you live in New York City, for example, you would go to the New York City, New York local time page (or simply click Current Time in the header menu and you'll be redirected based on your IP address)
Once you’re on the appropriate page, local below the current time in the first section for the following link:
“Receive DST reminders for [Location] via email.”
Obviously, select this option and then provide your email address. That’s it! You’ll receive an email reminder - at the email address you provided - a week prior to a DST time change, and also on the day of. That way, you’ll be in the loop when your local area is ready to make a switch.
The week reminder is especially helpful, as it allows you to plan out your schedule leading up to the DST change.
