Novosibirsk to Make Time Zone Change on July 24, 2016
Vladimir Putin, the Russian President, signed a time zone change into law for Novosibirsk on July 5, 2016. The change is set to take effect on July 24th, 2016 at 2:00 am local time.
The change will move the offset from +0600 to +0700 for Novosibirsk but will not affect the Novosibirsk Time (NOVT) time zone name. The primary city that will be affected by this change includes Novosibirsk in Siberia.
Zabaykalsky Krai, located in Siberia, and Astrakhan Oblast, located in southern Russia, are other locations that recently saw a time change thanks to federal law.
