Turkey Delays Daylight Saving Time End Date
Turkey will delay the end to daylight saving time this year due to the General Election occurring during this time period. To allow pollsters more daylight to vote during, the government decided to delay the end of DST by two weeks.
Turkey Delays End to DST
Normally, Turkey ends daylight saving time the same time as most of Europe, on October 25th, 2015. However, this year, they will delay the end time by two weeks and change clocks on Sunday November 8th, 2015. The clocks will change from 4:00am to 3:00am local time.
In 2016, it is believed Turkey will fall back into Europe's schedule of ending DST on the last Sunday in October.
