Mawson Time is five hours ahead of the Coordinated Universal Time standard, written as an offset of UTC + 5:00. That means to find the standard time in the zone you must add five hours to the Coordinated Universal Time.

Mawson Time or MAWT is used in Antarctica, but technically you could say it's used in Australia as well, because it is observed by Mawson Station, which is an Australia-owned research station.

Mawson Station remains on Mawson Time all year long and does not make any changes for Daylight Saving.
